The ML420 is a sport engine package that is able to deliver up to 302 horsepower @ 3,600 rpm. In addition, this engine was able to send the M-Class from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 6.5 seconds. All engine packages were also upgraded. The ML280 was redesigned to the ML300 and the ML 320 became the ML350. The ML420 was also upgraded to ML450 and increased in engine power.
